South Florida Cities - Miami Springs City

Miami Springs was founded by land developer and aeroplane designer Glen Hammond Curtiss. The City of Miami Springs is known for its natural waters. The pure water supplied to the whole Miami area until very recent years came from Miami Springs. This pure water was found by some engineers hired by Curtiss who was very concerned about getting healthy waters for residents and visitors.

Bal Harbour keeps growing...

I took this picture from a balcony of the well known Harbour House building. What you see there is Collins Avenue at around 7 PM.

This building is now being converted into a Condo (that's when a company - in this case The Related Group - buys the entire building and sell the units individually).

Just next to it, WCI Communities is building One Bal Harbour. This 26-story property has residences that range from 2 to 4 bedrooms. Prices start at $2,000,000. The condos have water views and range from 1,900 - 8,500 square feet.

Here some of the amenities:
• Concierge
• 24-hour valet
• Pet care service
• World class oceanfront spa
• Oceanfront restaurant
• Swimming pool
• Executive boardroom
• Conference facilities
• Ballroom

Night, Lights and Sushi

This is a photo from a car while waiting on a red light on Biscayne Blvd. I was looking around and saw HIRO, a very nice Sushi restaurant. As you can tell, when I shot the light went green and the driver stepped on the gas. Here the results...
